Searching for a counsellor can be very scary.  I realise that if you are visiting my website, you may be doing so in search of some help, maybe you are suffering some sort of emotional turmoil, stress, anxiety or depression which seem to be taking over your life.

It probably feels like no one can help you right now, however over a decade ago, a life changing event caused me to re-evaluate my future and what I needed and wanted from life. With the help of the people closest to me and a very gifted counsellor, I began to move forward and understand what makes me who and what I am and I learnt how to look after myself, that was really hard work and I remember thinking what does that actually mean!

I wondered how my counsellor had managed to help me so much and how it must feel to help others in the same way.  So that was my career path set and off I went to university to ensure I could do my clients justice with the skills I had learnt and knowledge and understanding.

My experience has taught me that clients need to be respected, not judged and really heard knowing their confidence will not be broken.  I try to guide not direct.

Alongside the above, counsellors should also be expected to:

Help you learn to look after yourself emotionally

Help you develop coping strategies

Look at recurring patterns within your life which stop you from getting where you want to go or the type of person you want to be.

Provide the hope that things can get better as they did for me!

Does the daith piercing suit certain types of ear shapes, Body Jewelry sizes, face shapes or hairstyles? Ear shape—specifically anatomically—will dictate if it's possible to pierce. But otherwise, I think most people suit a daith. What type of piercing do you pierce with—hoop or bar body piercing jewellery online? This is one of the few piercings we do encourage ring-style jewellery for. How long does it typically take to heal? Is it painful to sleep on? On average, around six to nine months. We don't encourage sleeping on new piercings until they've fully healed, rose gold nose ring stud hoop but unlike some of the outer-ear piercings, with this one, most people can sleep on it within a couple of months.
